2837 Washington is a 4-unit, townhouse-style infill development located on the border of Boston's Fort Hill neighborhood. It is one of the first multifamily buildings built to net zero design specifications in the Boston area. Previously an empty, blighted lot, this ground-up, new construction project gave BREC the opportunity to implement passive construction practices focused on reducing the building's carbon footprint not commonly found in small-scale residential.
