11 Newcomb Street
OVERVIEW
11 Newcomb Street is one of the three original buildings on the BREC block. It was purchased from a non-profit organization back in 2014 that was relocating their headquarters and needed to sell assets to fund their move. This was the first historic rehabilitation project on the BREC block, which required research, qualification and ultimately the creation of the Ascension-Caproni Historic District that the BREC block falls within. The building was fully carefully renovated inside and out, to preserve and restore historic elements and to create a mix of market-rate residential units. Historic tax credits were utilized to help fund this project. We continue to own and manage 11 Newcomb.
